This Ugly House

This is a log of This Ugly House. We purchased a 100 year old home that has not been updated since 1978. The idea behind this blog is to chronicle the trials and triumphants of updating This Ugly House and showing what a true beauty it can really be.

The Spanish Lady

If anyone remembers seeing the Spanish Lady painting hanging in the Green Room she is now going to a lovely home. Hopefully one that will appreciate her more than we would. Goodbye Spanish Lady...

Bro and Sis,
Well done. Ditch anything that doesn't suit you.

Thanks Guys for the comments. I was going to take some pics of the outside of the house this weekend so I can make use of the sun. By the time we have been getting there at night during the week it's been a little too dark.

When the theather room is done you can plan on a lot of visitors. It sure looks to be very comfortable and invitings. Looking forward to visiting a lot. The cork floors have been in the U.K. for years but just getting known in the U.S. Bamboo is also just becomeing popular as the forest regenerates quickly and is enviornmental friendly.
